Previously the Country Club Hotel, the 'new' Montenotte is perched high over the city in a fashionable residential area; it offers a pleasant budget-conscious alternative to city centre accommodation with good leisure faciities.

Previously the Country Club Hotel, the 'new' Montenotte is perched high over the city in a fashionable residential area, and it offers a pleasant budget-conscious alternative to city centre accommodation. The trump card is the view over the city, but good leisure facilities, a quiet location and ease of parking are also persuasive.


This Cork hotels public rooms include The Vista Bar and Merchants Bistro, both with city views of Cork; lunch (carvery) and light evening food is available in the bar, and the  Merchants Bistro offers contemporary fare in the evening.


Bright en-suite bedrooms are not especially large, but have all the facilities expected of a modern hotel, including tea & coffee facilities and complimentary wi-fi internet access.


Good leisure facilities include a gym, 18m swimming pool, sauna, steamroom and Jacuzzi.


Family breaks offered. For longer stays, the City Suites 2 bedroom apartments offer all the services of a hotel, with more space and privacy.

From Patrick's Street in the City Centre cross Patrick's Bridge and travel along Mc Curtain Street. At the lights take a left turn up Summerhill North to St. Luke's Cross, at the St. Luke's Cross junction turn right to proceed along the Middle Glanmire Road. The Montenotte Hotel is on your right just after the first bend in the road.
