Previously the Country Club Hotel, the 'new' Montenotte is perched high over the city in a fashionable residential area; it offers a pleasant budget-conscious alternative to city centre accommodation with good leisure faciities.

Previously the Country Club Hotel, the 'new' Montenotte is perched high over the city in a fashionable residential area, and it offers a pleasant budget-conscious alternative to city centre accommodation. The trump card is the view over the city, but good leisure facilities, a quiet location and ease of parking are also persuasive.


This Cork hotels public rooms include The Vista Bar and Merchants Bistro, both with city views of Cork; lunch (carvery) and light evening food is available in the bar, and the  Merchants Bistro offers contemporary fare in the evening.


Bright en-suite bedrooms are not especially large, but have all the facilities expected of a modern hotel, including tea & coffee facilities and complimentary wi-fi internet access.


Good leisure facilities include a gym, 18m swimming pool, sauna, steamroom and Jacuzzi.


Family breaks offered. For longer stays, the City Suites 2 bedroom apartments offer all the services of a hotel, with more space and privacy.
