One of Belfast’s most popular ethnic restaurants, Zen offers a unique dining experience and is especially known for the authenticity of their fresh sushi and sashimi

Zen

Eddie Fung's ultra modern, stunningly cool Japanese restaurant is to be found in the somewhat unlikely setting of a 19th centry redbrick linen mill.

To call it spectacular would be an understatement - with acres of glass and mirror to contend with if you wish to eat in the upstairs area, where you can dine in booths or hunkered down Japanese style, traditionalists may opt instead to try the downstairs dining area, where you can choose your food at the sushi bar if you wish.

In keeping with its setting, this Belfast Restaurants a place where they talk about ‘food design’, although more familiar Asian food is offered as well as cutting edge Japanese cuisine. Teppanyaki, tempura, sushi, sashimi, fusion dishes and a range of vegetarian dishes are all stylishly offered.

Open since 2003, it has proved to be one of Belfast’s most popular ethnic restaurants and it can be very busy at times.

Zen offers a unique dining experience and is especially known for the authenticity of their fresh sushi and sashimi.
