Feile Iorrais - International Folk Arts Festival - Co Mayo

Feile Iorras, the biggest Arts festival in Mayo, celebrates the folk traditions of the world. The exciting mix of Irish traditional folk songs and dances with Mongolian singers or a Scottish highland dancer ensures a week of discovery in the beautiful rural Erris area.

The Irish-speaking part of Ireland opens its doors on an annual basis to some of the best international folk groups. Music, song and dance punctuate the gentle breezes of the Atlantic as the community relaxes after a day's work.

A special emphasis is placed on the performing arts through the medium of Irish.
