Havana Cultura Festival - Galway

Galway's Havana Cultura (formerly known as Little Havana Festival) is a free and fun-filled festival taking place in the city's Latin Quarter.

From the evening of Friday 1st – Sunday 3rd June, Galway’s Latin Quarter will be alive with Latin music, dance, street entertainment, art and cultural events. Over 60 free events will be taking place over the weekend courtesy of Havana Club, the Authentic Cuban Rum.

Returning to the HAVANA CULTURA stage this year are the legendary Cuban All Stars, the eclectic Sabor Cubano and the Cuban Jazz Project. International performers La Tinto Bros, local heroes the Disconauts and Galway's very own 8 piece salsa band Cuba Libre will also feature. Groovalizacion DJ’s will bring their vibes, grooves and cultural fusions to the Latin Quarter, with a host of other bands and DJs from around the world, ensuring the pulse of Havana is felt throughout the city.

Additional activities taking place throughout the weekend include pop-up Havana Club Mojito Masterclasses, drumming classes by Big Beat, an experienced Latin American drumming band and a Cuban photo exhibition, exhibiting late 1950’s and early 1960’s photography. Backata Republic will also host energetic Salsa classes over the course of the weekend.
