Dax Restaurant

Olivier Mesonnave’s wonderful Dax is celebrating 21 years in business this year – and it just goes on getting better.

Special evenings inspired by their renowned wine list are a regular feature and they have a cracker coming up on Wednesday 11th November, when esteemed winemaker, Miguel Merino will join Dax for a 5 course dinner with wines. Bodega Miguel Merino is one of Rioja’s smallest and most respected family-run wineries, founded in 1994 in the historic village of Briones, with a focus on producing exceptional wines from old vineyards in Rioja Alta. Today, under the stewardship of Miguel Merino Jr, the bodega has gained international recognition for its traditional, sustainable approach and was recently elevated to Rioja First Growth status in Tim Atkin’s annual classification.
