Mary From Dungloe International Festival

It gives us great pleasure to welcome you to this our 41st Festival. We have filled this festival with lots of outdoor events, activities and street music. It is our aim to have something for everyone of all ages to take part in and enjoy. Our La Gaelach has long since been one of the festivals favourite days of Irish culture and this year is no exception.

Ten days of magical song and craic culminating in the selection of 'Mary' from dazzling array of international girls. Since the inception in 1967 of this now International Festival, most people are aware that the release or the re-release of that beautiful old ballad of the same name gave birth to this event.

Once again in 2008 we return once again to the "Town of Sweet Dungloe" to celebrate this internationally renowned festival.
