Carlingford Food Festival - Co Louth

Friday 24th - Sunday 26th July 2009

Carlingford food fest is a 3 day celebration of fine food and drink, a first for Carlingford and the north east region. Set in the idyllic surroundings of the Medieval village of Carlingford, all the restaurants, bars, eateries and cafes and celebrated chefs will be serving sample-sized signature dishes to our visitors and discerning local foodies over this mid July weekend. Cookery classes and talks on food will also be hosted, competitions for our local chefs and the visiting public to get involved in.

Bringing an unparalleled food and hospitality experience to thousands of visitors, the very best in local seafood as well the renowned Carlingford oyster, Local beef and Cooley lamb as well as the best in locally sourced speciality food and drink companies will also showcase alongside the cream of Carlingford.

Take delight in gourmet distinction within this little hamlet nestled amongst the mountains and Carlingford Lough, a truly stunning location, friendly locals great company and fantastic live entertainment.
