Set in a 300 acre estate in north county Dublin and built around the original Roganstown House, this is primarily a golf hotel but its convenience to Dublin airport and the city make it an attractive destination for business guests, travellers who wish to avoid the big airport hotels, and those seeking a weekend break from the capital without a long drive.

It is a pleasant, well-managed hotel with a friendly can-do attitude, and very comfortable accommodation in well-appointed modern rooms which overlook the championship golf course, a Japanese-styled courtyard or mature front gardens; rooms, which are uncluttered and work well, have good facilities including a laptop safe, direct dial telephone, internet access, satellite TV, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, and tea & coffee making facilities, including a Bewleys coffee machine.

The hotel has always had a reputation for good food, both in the comfortable O'Callaghans Bar, and McLoughlins Restaurant, which offers fine dining in very pleasant surroundings and attracts diners from a wide area.

Conference facilities include the wheelchair accessible Aungier Suite which has state-of-the-art facilities, its own bar and splendid views of the golf course, which is also ideal for banqueting, and can be subdivided into smaller groups as desired.

An additional two dedicated boardrooms can each accommodate up to 16 delegates.

For golf lovers, the Christy O'Connor Junior-designed golf course will be an exciting challenge.
