Owner Barbara Nealon, from County Clare via San Francisco, opened here in summer 2019 to showcase the best local produce, “native plants and hand crafted edible/drinkable and take home goods around”. Local beers and cider are supplemented by some of the most delightful organic wines around.
She and a small team headed up by head chef Rebecca Recarrey seek out the best local charcuterie and cheeses - a weekly farmers market outside the door helps, that’s where they found their locally roasted Red Strand coffee. And it’s a friendly spot, always time for a chat at the counter.
