East Galway Food Festival - Co Galway

East Galway's second annual Food Festival will take place in Loughrea, Co Galway, on the 19th June.

The festival aims to highlight the quality of locally-produced food and to attract additional tourists to East Galway, hence boosting the local economy and benefitting producers and the area, as a whole.

The festival will include food, culture, folklore and a great family day.

The Irish countryside, rich and diverse in culinary history and folklore, is one of Ireland's most attractive features and brings together people from all over the world. The topography of East Galway provides unique legends, stories and recipes that have been handed down from generation to generation. The East Galway Food Festival will highlight these local features.

The East Galway Food Festival will be a celebratory day of pantomine, storytelling, local food, workshops and traditional Irish music, and much more.
