Connemara Sea Week - Co Galway

Connemara Sea Week is a celebration of our Marine Heritage which takes place over two weekends - an exciting blend of myth, magic and madness.

Conference held in local primary school over the bank holiday weekend, with poets, storytellers, painters, scientists and musicians discussing matters maritime.

It will be a weekend of talking and a little walking. There will be pub gigs, concerts, workshops for music and sean nós dance. There will also be a youth concert.

Vibrant schools programmes are also part of the week, with soccer tournaments for adults and children.
