The Colonel's Lodge

The Colonel's Lodge is set in the garden of Beech Hill Country House bed and breakfast. It is a converted grain store with a small double bedroom under the rafters in an open gallery upstairs , a small single bedroom downstairs with bathroom, large kitchen/living room and sitting room.

The kitchen has a fridge, dish washer and an oil fired range which does the cooking and heating. There is a separate utility room with clothes washing machine, tumble drier and freezer. Here you will also find ample secure storage for bicycles, golf clubs, fishing gear etc.

The Lodge also has a television, radio and its own telephone. The Colonel's Lodge is perfect for a single person or couple with one child ( a cot is available on request).

Children must be supervised at all times as this is a working farm and there is a small pond in the garden.

There are friendly dogs and cats at Beech Hill so if you or your children are scared of them or just don't like animals, please don't come and stay here. It gives me a nervous breakdown attempting the impossible task of keeping them locked up at all times!!

The Lodge can also be taken on a B&B basis for those who want privacy and room to spread out, you only have to walk across the garden to join us for breakfast.

Both Beech Hill and The Colonel's Lodge work on a strict NO SMOKING POLICY.
