Feile Bia na Mara - Achill Seafood Festival - Co Mayo

Thursday 14th - Sunday 17th July 2011

Féile Bia na Mara is a culinary celebration of Achill's rich heritage with the sea and it showcases the bountiful harvest of the Atlantic Ocean. Events in 2009 and 2010 included cookery demonstrations, seaweed safaris, fish markets, seafood BBQs and a family sandcastle competition. Local (and guest) talent included Cailín agus Buachaill Óg and the Achill's Got Talent contest. We intend to make the 2011 Féile Bia na Mara even bigger and more enjoyable, so check back here as full details of events will be posted as soon as they are finalised.
