Shrule Annual Vintage Rally - Co Galway

Sunday 12th June 2011

The Shrule Vintage Club will be holding its Annual Vintage Rally in the grounds of Castlehackett Estate near Tuam - this will include a huge gathering of working vintage cars, tractors and other vehicles, local crafts, sheepdog trials, children's entertainment and family fun, and a wide range of refreshments will be available.

There will be live music on the day with Dolores Keane and friends, including Top Form and, perhaps the Saw Doctors.

All proceeds from the day will be donated to our school, which is a special school offering education to children with severe intellectual disability. The day is supported by Ability West, the school's patron, who provide services to adults and children with intellectual disability in Galway - and for the first time, many adult service users will be participating in collaboration with the local community; hosting their own stalls selling their own organic produce, arts and crafts, jumble, bric a brac and light refreshments.
