A few miles out of Killarney town, this famous low-rise hotel, dating from the ‘60s, enjoys stunning views of the lakes and the mountains beyond. It is now one of Ireland’s most luxurious hotels and, under the caring management of Pat and Marie Chawke and their welcoming staff, it is a very special place - and perfect for a stylish wedding.

Contemporary public areas are airy and spacious, with lots of marble, original artwork, and a relaxed, open ambience and, from the foyer, hints of the magical mountains beyond that invite exploration - perhaps into the chic bar which links to a new terrace and the swimming pool area, or up to the open-plan lounge which enjoys that magnificent view.

This wedding venues got churches of various denominations to choose from nearby - and wedding blessings can be held here, in this beautiful location, which should fulfil the most romantic of dreams.

The hotel does not offer a wedding planning service, but any special transport requirements can be met, and a piper or other special welcome can be arranged on request.

A seated dinner is preferred for the wedding meal, which is held in the first floor restaurant - a bright and elegant space, with beautifully appointed tables and distant views over the lakes and mountains.

Accommodation is seriously luxurious, in spacious rooms and suites with sumptuous bathrooms, balconies and lake views - and, for the bride and groom who have everything, there’s a 3,000 sq ft penthouse suite with rooftop garden...
