Iniscealtra Festival of Arts - Co Clare

Multi-disciplinary arts festival, including music, dance, visual art, drama, participatory workshops and outdoor performances, all over-looking Lough Derg.

This is an annual, multi-disciplinary, themed, community arts festival aimed at engaging audiences through workshops, artists in residence and events, particularly in the areas of visual arts, all forms of music, dance and performance.

Participation for all the family is a key objective, facilitated by professional artists both for the creation of new work and for the support of indigenous, traditional art forms such as music, drama and literature.

We provide a dynamic and diverse programme of events for both the people of East Clare, and the many visitors both national and international in the beautiful lakeshore village of Mountshannon and the surrounding area. Events such a drama, storytelling and concerts are often staged outdoors and also on Holy Island itself with visitors being ferried across the waters by local fishing boat
