St. Mullins, Co. Carlow

St. Mullins is a historic village at the centre of the golfing ‘Sunshine Circuit’, southeast Ireland. Un-crowded courses, at reasonable rates, are here to be enjoyed by all golfers whatever your standard.

Some of the finest parkland golf courses in Ireland such as Borris, New Ross, Enniscorthy, Mount Wolseley , Carlow, Gowran Golf Club at The Gowran Race Course in Kilkenny and the world famous Mount Juliet are a short distance away.

For fishing enthusiast, the stretch of the River Barrow running through St. Mullins is inhabited by a wide variety of fish. Apart from salmon and trout there is a wide variety of fish for the coarse angler.

This is also a particularly appealing area for cycling. Quiet country roads and sleepy villages with nice pubs are common around this part of the country. There are also plenty of places for walkers to enjoy themselves.
