Ardmore Pattern Festival - Co Waterford

 Friday 22nd - Sunday 24th July 2011

A weekend feast of (mostly free) events ranging from open-air concerts, fireworks, sandcastle, fancy-dress competitions, art events, puppet shows, traditional storytelling, guided historical tours, discos, football blitzes, flower festival, busking competition, powerboat racing, kayaking, live music sessions, golf, treasure hunt, teddy bears picnics and much more. Something for all ages and tastes.

The Festival takes place annually around the feast day of local patron saint, St. Declan, which falls on the 24th July. Established in 2007 to revive the Pattern of St. Declan of Ardmore, which was a major event in the social calendar in years gone by, the Festival has gone from strength to strength in the intervening years.

It is a family-based festival, with many of the events being organised by local community groups and organisations.
