Gort Agricultural Show - Gort Show - Co Galway

Gort Show will be celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2011, and it will be the biggest and most exciting agricultural show the area has ever seen.

There will be a horse show, dog and cat show, pet and poultry show, cookery, crafts, photography, gardening, floral and children's exhibitions, and competitions.

There will be plenty of children's entertainment, including free face painting, lots of rides, games and races. Adults can look at the many exhibits of local crafts and skills, as well as the vintage machinery and vehicle exhibitions. There will also be races and games for adults.

Live music will entertain the crowd, as well as good local food to sample and taste. There will be displays of traditional, as well as more modern crafts and agricultural trades.

For the first time in 2011, there will be displays of animals not previously exhibited, such as goats, cattle and pigs.
