The cooking style is mainly classic Italian, with quite an extensive à la carte evening menu plus a shorter one available as an option at lunchtime.

Service at this Kilkenny restaurants prompt, and food is characterised by freshness of the carefully sourced local iingredients and a consistently high standard of cooking: excellent minestrone, a superb plate of house antipasti, delicious seafood and memorable pasta, which includes a luxurious house speciality of spaghetti with lobster.

Great service and outstanding value for money can sometimes be let down by a slightly frantic atmosphere, as so many people want to eat at this popular restaurant - but that ensures there is always a buzz.
