Cork St. Patrick's Festival

Saturday 13th - Wednesday 17th March 2010

Five day festival with family entertainment, while the parade takes place on the traditional Wednesday 17th of March.

Cork's harbour is one of the largest in the world, and the city has been shaped by the many who have sailed to and from our shores.

In celebration of this Cork invites people, boats and bands from around the world to share their culture as Cork marks Ireland’s national day.

During the 2009 festival the streets burst into life at the Cork St. Patrick's Festival with free family-fun entertainment as the centre of the city became transformed by a riot of colour and sound.

With over 80,000 visitors to the city, there was something for everyone with food markets, street performers, musicians and much, much more. Expect the same and more in 2010.
