Corona Cork Film Festival

Sunday 4th - Sunday 11th November 2012

Now in its 57th year, Cork's festival is one of the oldest in the world. The programme is eclectic, with full programmes of features, documentaries, exhibitions, retrospectives and new Irish cinema. And, of course, the short film programmes for which the festival has an international reputation.

The programme is packed, with screenings beginning at 11am each day and the last screenings ending at 1am!

The main venue is the 1,000-seat Cork Opera House which, for one week each year, becomes Ireland's largest cinema!

Not just an important cultural event, the festival is also one of the highlights of Cork's social calendar with the legendary Festival Club thronged each night with filmmakers and film lovers.
