Dublin Gay Theatre Festival

Monday 7th - Sunday 20th May 2012

The IDGTF is the world's largest festival celebrating gay identity in theatre and was founded in 2004 to mark the 150th anniversary of the birth of Dubliner Oscar Wilde.

Now firmly established in the capital's cultural calendar each May, the festival celebrates the diverse face of modern Dublin, welcoming audiences and productions from Ireland and around the world. The festival runs for two weeks across several venues across the city centre.

There is a broad mix of drama, comedy, musical theatre, cabaret, seminars, discussions and free events, with a particular emphasis on the best in new writing for theatre. Covering broad themes of gender, sexuality and culture we warmly invite everyone to enjoy the great theatre on offer.

Our programme is available from March. We also accept submissions throughout the year. See our website for news & updates
