The Hill of Tara is is an archaeological complex that runs between Navan and Dunshaughlin in County Meath and is best known as the seat of the High Kings of Ireland, however the Hill of Tara has been an important site since the late Stone Age when a passage-tomb was constructed there.



At the height of its power the Hill of Tara was the political and spiritual centre of Ireland.



The site includes an audio-visual show and guided tours.

Opening Time:

Open daily 24th May - 12th September 10am-6pm. Last admission 1 hour before closing.

Admission Charge:

Adults €3; Child/Student €1; OAP/Group €2; Family €8.
