Interprets the Neolithic monuments of Newgrange, Knowth and Dowth

Newgrange & Knowth - Bru na Boinne Visitor Centre

Brú na Bóinne Visitor Centre interprets the Neolithic monuments of Newgrange, Knowth and Dowth. The extensive exhibition includes a full scale replica of the chamber at Newgrange as well as a full model of one of the smaller tombs at Knowth.

All admission to Newgrange and Knowth is through the Visitor Centre, there is no direct access to these monuments. Visitors are brought from the Visitor Centre to the monuments by shuttle bus.

Opening Time:

Open Daily year round except 24-27 Dec inc. February-April 9.30am-5.30pm; May 9am-6.30pm; June-mid September 9am-7pm; mid-end September 9am-6.30pm; October 9.30am-5.30pm; November-January 9am-5pm

Admission Charge:

Various options on offer including tours, range from: Adults €3-11; Child/Student €2-6; OAP/Group €2-8; Family €8-28
