At c. 800 years old Hook Lighthouse is the oldest intact operational lighthouse in the world. Hook Lighthouse offers guided tours of the lighthouse tower all year round and you can climb the 115 steps to the spectacular view from the balcony.
The former lighthouse keeper’s houses now play host to the visitor facilities including exhibits, displays, a cafe, gift shop and art classes are held throughout the year too.
Festivals, events and family fun days take place on a regular basis too.

Opening Time:
Open year round from 9.30am-5pm, closing 6pm Jun-Aug, 5.30pm May & Sep. Access to lighthouse is by guided tour only which is every half hour Jun-Aug and every hour the rest of the year.
Admission Charge:
Adults €6; Child €3.50 (under 5 yrs free); OAP/Student €4.50; Family (2 adults & 2 children) €18; Family (2 adults & 3 children) €20. Pre-booked groups 20+ receive 10% discount
