Cobh Heritage Centre

An exhibition of The Origins, History and Legacy of Cobh. Between 1848 and 1950, over 6 million adults and children emigrated from Ireland – over 2.5 million from Cobh, making it the single most important port of emigration in Ireland. Cobh was the last port of call for the ill-fated Titanic. Later the steamers and ocean liners continued carrying the Irish to new lives and new lands.

Opening Time:

Open all year except 2 weeks at Christmas. Open daily Oct-Apr 9.30am-5pm; May-Oct: 9.30am-6pm. Last admission 1 hour before closing

Admission Charge:

Adult €7.50; Student/OAP €6; Child €4; Family (2 adults + 2 children) €20
