Aviva Stadium

The Aviva Stadium is a five tiered state of the art stadium built on the site of the former Lansdowne Road stadium, which was demolished in 2007, and replacing it as home to its chief tenants: the Irish rugby union team and the Republic of Ireland national football team.



The stadium consists of a continuous curvilinear shaped stand enclosing all four sides of the ground, it's a fully seated venue with a capacity of 51,700.



The stadium tour gives you the unique opportunity to get a sense of what the Irish rugby and football stars really feel like on a match day. The tour consists of a film in the press facilities where you can re-live some of the greatest moments, the hallowed Irish dressing room giving you the chance to sit in the seat of your heroes, walk through the player’s tunnel, pitchside to view the hallowed turf and see the dugouts and the breathtaking view of the stadium from the top stand.

Opening Time:

Stadium tours are open all year around, 7 days a week, apart from fixtures and stadium operations at the following times: 10.00, 11.00, 12.00, 13.00, 14.00, 15.00, 16.00. Tours commence at reception on Lansdowne Road and last approximately one hour.

Adults €10; Child €5; Students/OAPs €7
